The Revels Drama Group in Knowle are about to open their next production, Third Week In August by Peter Gordon.
When Sue decides to get away from it all, she little realises that she’s booked into the caravan site from hell! Regular visitors Neville and his wife Mary take her under their wing, but matters soon become complicated. Add into the mix Neville’s sister in law, the family staying next door, and a stunt kite and you have all the ingredients for a very funny take on the British seaside holiday.
Director Margaret Fulford said, “Caravan holidays are something that every family seems to have experienced. Whether you love them or hate them, there’s always a story to tell! Peter Gordon manages to capture the chaos of this British tradition which we have brought to life on stage!”
Third Week In August runs from Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th May at 7:30pm at Knowle Village Hall. Tickets can be booked from the Box Office on 01564 779801, can be purchased in person from Palmers on Knowle High Street and will be available on the door. Prices are £8 for adults, £7 for concessions and £6 for members.
